This summer when I was chatting with my sister about some different green alternatives fro mowing the lawn, I remembered that she had previously bought a lawnmower that ran on a rechargeable battery. When I asked her how she liked her lawnmower, she said that after using it for only one summer that it often would take her a whole day just to mow her small yard due to the battery losing it’s charge half way through. She said it was great in the beginning but now she has to buy another mower as her electric battery run mower took too long to mow with.

I have bought a new weed eater last month. I followed a few weed eater reviews and decided upon a particular model. The weed eater reviews guaranteed that this is device for bigger lawns. Biological filters must run continuously as long as there is aquatic life in the pond. Shutting them down for a time longer than few hours leads to death of the beneficial bacteria. Use de-chlorinated water to clean the biological filters to prevent killing the beneficial bacteria. The filter should also not be over cleaned. Only rinse them to the extent that water can flow freely through the filter. You can also buy beneficial bacteria from a water garden supplies store.
Algae are one of those major things that are responsible for reducing the quality of water. To get rid of algae problem, one can make use of an ultraviolet sterilizer. This sterilizer makes use of a tiny germicidal UV lamp; water is allowed to pass all around it by placing it in a pipe. It removes algae to a large extent, if properly sized to your pond. However, you should never use this sterilizer if you don’t have adequate biological filtration.
